Who Are We?
TrueChristian.com has been around for
about since June 16, 2003. It has been ran presently by me, Pastor Jim Nicholls,
for the past 3 years after.. My father, Pastor Mark Nicholls, ran the church for
over 39 years, with two other generations before him running our church,
"True Christian Church of Christ" here in Blytheville, Arkansas.
I trained hard under my father and read
the Bible eagerly ever since I could form words. Unlike most of my peers and
family members though, I was always interested in computers, and decided to
bring our church to the Internet to get God's message out across the
world.
I'm now currently 48 years old, married
with my wife Edna. We brought forth into the world two great blessings: Billie
and Samantha who are both teenagers at the time.
What Has Happened Here?
The website has gone through some
drastic changes since we have been here on the Internet and I no longer provide
my address, pictures, or even the picture of my church for privacy and safety
reasons within the consideration that many people are offended by God's word and
strive to destroy all of God's elect. If you notice by reading e-mails in the
"E-Mail Bag" section, many self-acclaimed 'Christians' have told me
they will come find me and kill me, rape my daughter, and so forth. This
behavior isn't Christian, and isn't tolerated by our Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ.
What Do You Do Here?
The thing that sets this ministry apart
from others is the simple fact that we accept the Bible as a literal fact. The
danger in this is that many people who think/call themselves Christians have
never done this and many of their pastors haven't either. Many people for
instance believe that the Old Testament is bad, and Jesus' coming means that we
don't have to uphold it's laws since they are seen as ridiculous by many. Then
we look to the Bible:
Psalm 119
160 All your words are true;
all your righteous laws are eternal.
...and THAT is what we do here on
TrueChristian.com. We string out those who "pick and chose" what to
believe in the Bible, upholding all the same beliefs that Christians have had
since Jesus' coming. We believe that if the people who wrote the Bible (penned
it) who knew the Word of God and believed what they did about how nature itself
was and the order of things in the world, then we should to. We as Christians
stand steady and strong with our faith rather than the challenges of
non-Christians who fabricate 'evidences' to try to show Christianity and the
Word of God itself as bunk. The Bible was penned with the knowledge of God
directly only once. It is silly to assume to us that it is righteous for us to
reform and even changes God's Word as times change and humanity advances, (in
other words, accepting evolution as true and so forth).
That being said, I hope you enjoy your
visit here on TrueChristian.com and learn something not only about Christianity
in its literal form according to the Bible, but by all the beliefs held by those
who walked with Jesus in the flesh.
