Kidz, God loves you! Today it's time for another lesson from the Bible!
One day God's prophet, Elisha was out for a walk in a place called Bethel, which is just about 10 miles north Jerusalem. Elisha was a good man who God loved very much.
2 Kings 2:23
As Elisha was walking through town many little children, just like you, came to where Elisha was. These little children were naughty though since they made fun of Elisha and said things like,
"Go up, Bald Head! Go up, Bald Head!!"

Now Elisha was angry that these little children were acting like little children and Elisha cursed the little children in the Name of the Lord.

God responded by sending two female bears from the forest. The bears attacked 42 of the little children, ripping them up, limb from limb, and their were screams and blood everywhere. All the parents were sad and grieved many days.
