Psalm 94:16 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. ---- Psalm 109:9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow. --- Hebrews 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin. --- John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. --- John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. --- Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved. --- John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. ---

Dear Fellow "Christians,"

I was searching on the web for the phrase including casting the first stone and
stumbled on this:

A lot people use the story of the woman taken in adultery as an excuse
to not ever preach to anyone. The
actual truth of the matter is that Christ not only preached at the
woman, but also at all of her accusers. By saying "He that is without
sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her," Christ was not
speaking of someone who was entirely free from any and all sin, as
there was no such person other than Christ himself. The law of Moses
called for the stoning of a person who was caught in adultery and that
stoning had to be done by someone who was not guilty of the sin with
which the accused was charged. Who Christ is referring to here is
someone who is not guilty of some scandalous sin and more particularly,
adultery. Christ called the generation in which He lived an adulterous
and sinful generation, meaning, at least partially, that adultery was
extremely prevalent. Therefore, as was shown by each of the accusers
leaving without casting any stone, each of those accusers was just as
guilty of adultery, if not more so, than the woman. He preached to them
about their hypocrisy, convicting each one of them of their sins to
such an extent that none could stand their own conscience. Also, by the
very words "Go and sin no more," Christ preached repentance to the
woman. Christ did not say "Go and continue living your wicked and
adulterous life and I will grant you salvation anyway".
Further, by telling him that was without sin to cast the first stone,
Christ showed to the woman that He was merciful, and to her accusers,
he showed that He is the searcher of hearts. Christ, not only by His
words, but also by His actions, preached that salvation is by grace and
not by works.
According to the law of Moses, this woman was fully deserving of being
stoned to death for her adultery.
Crying "judge not lest you be judged" or "let he who is without sin
cast the first stone" is a favorite tactic among
so-called "Christians".

This
is a bunch of crap. Jesus called us not to judge others,? and not to judge
others with sins that we have not committed. What kind of crap is that.
The only person who can judges us is the Lord, not any human. This is
how these so called "Christian" religions (the proper name is
Protestant) come about. You find something you don't believe in and
make it suite you and create a whole new religion to fit your needs. I
do not understand how you can have stable and founded religion based on
someone's disagreement with the church. I am Catholic (if you have not
already figured it out). My religion has a foundation that can be
traced to the time of Jesus. How can you disagree with that. Yes there
has been corruption, but what religion doesn't. You can not just pick
and choose what you want to believe in you have to believe it all. So I
am sorry you are sadly mistaken, you can not throw the first stone
until you are without sin on the only person who has ever been without
sin was Jesus, thus the only one who can judge anyone.

--
A Catholic.

PS. I did a little research about your web site after typing this letter and realize
your are completely ignorant and oblivious. How could you believe the world could be
flat. Have you never seen a satellite image of the earth, or do you believe the
earth to be a flat circle. Do even know any physics? I am guessing you believe the
sun goes around the earth. You preach to people? WOW I am speechless. God Bless you

The entire scientific community (me and Pastor Rick) know have already proved the Earth is flat in MSPaint.

I would like to ask you one question regarding
http://www.truechristian.com/proofwearecorrect.html. You never printed out
on the page which book in the Holy Bible says TrueChristian.com is the Word
of God. This doesn't hold any proof at all unless which book in the Bible
you got it from is stated. Also, the whole God is not love thing totally
contradicts the Bible. http://www.truechristian.com/falsechristians.html.
"He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 John 4:8, KJV.
Please don't hold any offense from this, I'm just searching for answers and
wanted to hear your take on it. Thank You.

During my days at Cottage Grove High School, I realize how many people
actually go against the Lord, Jesus. I see how the people who are now my
friends, may become my enemies. I also see that some of these people are
enemies to me no matter what. But, despite the fact that I want to hate them
and knock them upside the head with my fist, I remember something the Lord
has told me in His Word. "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them
that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which
despitefully use you, and persecute you." Matthew 5:44.
May God bless you.

Dear Pastor Jim,

My oldest daughter, an agnostic, showed me your site - and I'm ever so grateful
she did! Thank you so much for everything you are doing for "true Christians"
everywhere! I've spent the last few years as a very spiritual (Buddhist-y type),
moral, law-abiding citizen but with very atheist leanings - this despite being
brought up in a strict and repressive Church of Christ family in Oklahoma. Oh,
how wrong I've been!

Your site has shown me the error of my ways. I now know that my hellfire and
brimstone spewing father was right all those years and I was so, so wrong and
sinful. I am ashamed to say that I've gone against his wishes - and obviously,
God's for too long. When I sat in church as a teenager and wondered what kind of
sick bastard God was for creating woman as intelligent as man (usually more so it
seems) yet expect them to play an inferior role, I was wrong - it's in the Bible!!
I should have known that my father, who never graduated high school, was correct
when he informed me, a MENSA qualifier, that men have one less rib than women
because it's in the Bible! I now realize that it was God's will when I nearly
drowned in the Illinois River on a church canoe trip - as a 90 lb. 7Th grader, I
had protested wearing jeans, which become quite heavy when wet, because I was
anemic and not a strong swimmer. But obviously, God was punishing me for wanting
to show my (bird-like,
ghostly white) legs when it could have incited lust amongst my fellow youth group
members. Females should be modest - it's in the Bible! I also now realize that a
few years later, when I was healthier and had filled out to more of a Barbie-like
figure, that it was my fault when a church deacon hit on me. I should have worn
something akin to a muumuu over a turtleneck to cover up my Jezebel's body instead
of those sinful jeans and t-shirts we all wore in the 80's! I know now that my
father was right when he nearly disowned me for having a child out of wedlock. I
am obviously a whore and a Jezebel. If only I had known to have my boyfriend pay
my father the appropriate amount of shekels and just married the asshole! My sins
are so great and unforgivable in comparison to my father, who only had a 3+ year
affair while married to my mother (they're actually still married) resulting in my
two illegitimate sisters that I met for the first time when I was 20. His
explanation? "I let the devil get a hold of me". I now realize that is true - the
devil in the form of that Jezebel who seduced him!

So, again, thank you, thank you ever so much for opening my eyes to what's in the
Bible. It is the holy, inspired word of God and so it all must be true! Because
it says so!!

I can only hope to become a "true Christian" as you are. In my efforts, I will
forget everything I learned in college. I am going to drive my Toyota Prius off a
cliff and go buy a more Christian-like vehicle such as a Hummer or an Escalade. I
am going to change my voter registration to Republican - or better yet, perhaps I
shouldn't vote at all since I am a woman and not capable of making decisions for
myself, let alone the fate of our great nation. I will stop giving my money to
charities that feed starving children in Africa (they deserve it for not being
good Christians and Americans) and that help the environment (why worry about
climate change when Jesus is coming soon to destroy the world with fire??)! I am
going to take my children out of public school and home-school them solely on your
Kidz pages. I will insist that my eldest daughter as well as my two
step-daughters who are all in college quit at once! I don't care if they are on
scholarships and one is
about to graduate magna cum laude! They are going to fill their heads with science
and other disgusting secular things! They need to be looking for husbands that
they can serve!! I am going to disown my gay uncle and shun my gay/lesbian friends
(perhaps I should be looking into ways of putting them to death?) as well as my
friends who are pagan, atheist, Buddhist, Catholic, Mexican, Native American and
black! I am going to ask for forgiveness from my Sunday-school-teaching father and
my missionary-and-Masters-Degree-in-Ministry-holding-preacher brother and take my
subservient place in the family where I belong (even though I'm 38 now). I am
going to quit my well-paying job so I can stay home and do more housework and
cooking for my husband. I also need to inform my husband that he needs to start
making all the decisions and quit leaving so many things up to me, an inferior
woman. Hmmm...I guess we should also throw away the sex toys and I can no longer
be on top
 anymore. Damn...

  Yours truly,
Rachael, the Succubus incarnate in Oklahoma

P.S. Wink, wink. Love your site!!! I looked it over whilst at work and couldn't
stop laughing out loud. Unfortunately, I can't share it with co-workers because
it would just be lost on them - I know you understand. But again, Cheers! Keep
the "faith"!

^,..^

Thanks for being fun with me!

I am so surprised at the ignorance and bigotry here. Its interesting to me how some
people that claim to be religious can promote so much hate -(where's the love?). It
is offensive to me, but really so ridiculus - that I can't even take you seriously.
I guess its too bad that this is how ignorance spreads. Kind of a sad life - you
should build up what you care about not waste your time tearing others down. I think
its easy to offend and be shocking, but so much more to believe and inspire. I hope
you learn and grow - good luck man.

It is hard to fight the Liberals these days. They have so engrossed their
religion of Science into our every day lives. They tell us we can't burn
witches or kill Catholics anymore (but we can still burn them in the media).
Us True Christians have been forced by the Liberals to give in a little and
call The Truth, "Christian Science". Yes, "Science" is Satan's word, but
people rather listen to the word "Science". All True Christians know that
Science is a silly thing for idiots only.* Faith is ALWAYS superior and
RIGHT over Science. The Liberals brainwash most people otherwise, but they
will all BURN in Hell!!

I'm sorry, but are you typing this on a computer?

Subject:   Feedback

Dear Sir,

I hope you are well. I recently found your website and wanted to give you my feedback.

Firstly, I would like to introduce myself (not only as it is the polite thing to do,
but also to prove that I am not an anonymous spammer and I'm not trying to shut you
down in anyway). My name is Ben and I reside across the waters in England. I am a
23 year-old Agnostic, although I was raised into Christianity.

Firstly, I would like to start by applauding your stance on your faith. Although I
no longer claim to be a Christian I find I can muster little or no respect for those
"so-called" Christians who pick and choose which parts of the Bible they follow.
Although my believes may differ from yours, I have respect that as a Christian, you
are following the Bible to the best of your understanding.

I had a look at a number of the articles on your site after a friend of mine
forwarded a link onto me. The first article I read was your article on
masturbation. Since this was the article that seemed to confuse me the most, I
hoped you would guide me on a couple of the points raised in the article.

Firstly, under the Myth of Masturbation being harmless, you have gone on to say that
Christianity has proven that masturbation can cause weakness, depression,
forgetfulness and nearsightedness. What studies have were conducted to prove to
these findings? I thought that saying masturbation caused eyesight problems was
nothing more than a Victorian wives' tale? Has your group found new evidence to the
contrary?
Your second point goes on to say that 150,000 Americans are masturbating at any one
time. I haven't worked the figures, but I will assume that it is a pretty accurate
number. How does this equate to costing the American economy $3.14 billion a month?
I take it this figure is made on the assumption that people are regularly slipping
away from their desks to secretly pleasure themselves? How did you come to this
figure? I recently heard that employees spending time on social network websites
such as Facebook caused the biggest measurable loss in worker productivity. One
article I found suggested that Facebook was costing Australian businesses 5Billion
USD a year. Australia has a population of around 20million compared to the USA's
population of 300million. Therefore, if we multiply that 5Billion USD by 15 to
roughly get a figure based on USA population, we get to a figure of 75Billion USD.
Divided by 12 (to get a monthly figure) we see that Facebook usage costs the US
economy approximately 6.25 billion a month. DOUBLE that of employess slipping off
to masturbate at work. Which is worse? Masturbation or Facebook (that is if the US
economy is your real concern).

Your third point goes onto say how much God hates the waste of sperm. If this is
the case, why is there so much apparently "spare" sperm? After all, it only takes
one healthy sperm cell to fertilise an egg. Every time a male ejeculates he
produces millions of sperm cells and he can reproduce as many in a matter of
hours/days.

Your fourth point goes on to say "practically all rapists, Sodomites, child
molesters and pornography addicts started out as Masturbators". I think this is a
little harsh as your article goes on to say that at least 95% of the American
population masturbate. I don't think with those numbers, masturbation can be used
as defining characteristic of any of the above. I would go as far to say that it is
completely irrelevant, but if you have some evidence supporting your claims I will
gladly take that comment back.

I have to admit that when it comes to your fifth point I am pretty ill-educated.
Although I have to say that I am VERY suprised that Texan police are torturing
people for selling "indecently-shaped soap and candles" with NO public outcry! If
you are aware of police officials that are doing this I would urge you to go public
and release their names. Torture is certainly no way to go about fighting crime. I
am suprised after the way Jesus was brutally killed that any Christian could
knowingly turn a blind eye to such inhuman police action.

Your recomendations for preventing masturbation also strike me as a little extreme.
Outlawing all candles is among the most ludicrous ideas I have ever heard! In fact,
as I recall, candles are lit in a lot of Christian churches and they are not being
used for anything unsuitable. Likewise, enforcing a law to sell all sausages,
cucumbers and carrots pre-sliced!? This is surely some kind of joke?! Furthermore,
would that make it illegal to grown your own cucumbers and carrots? Looking around
my living room, I can spot at least five things which could be used as a dildo in a
desperate situation, I don't think you have properly thought out the logistics of
this. Are you intending to ban showers heads? Marker pens? Wine bottles?
Crucifixes?! The list is endless. Plus, we're forgetting the most popular
masturbation aid of all time. Fingers. Should these be removed at birth?

After this I get truly disturbed. If you don't wish to indulge in masturbation,
that is no concern of mine. Even if you manage to convince a few people in your
flock to give up, I have no problem with that, everyone is entitled to believe what
they wish, and treat their genitals as they wish. My main concern is your call to
make masturbation ILLEGAL and fund an anti-masturbation law-enforcement department!
Where does that leave the vast majority of people who don't share your beliefs? I,
like 95% of people who told the truth, enjoy masturbation regularly. Surely if
masturbation is a sin God will judge me for it, not you, not the police and
certainly not a squad of stormtroopers spying on people in secret hoping to catch
them in their most private moments.

I also notice that your graph doesn't have labelled axis? Are there numbers
associated with these lines at all, or are you just guessing?

Best Regards, I look forward to your reply,BenPS. Encouraging people to put a
bullet in someone's head (Michael Moore) isn't the most Christian sentiment I've
ever heard. Can you explain your logic here?

Who?

Subject:   Gay Marriage
From:   "David Mamanakis" <efialtis@efialtis.com>
Date:   Sun, October 28, 2007 4:40 pm

First off, I would like to say that your site is "hate filled" for the
simple reason that you do not take into account some of God's words
concerning various subjects.
One example of this is with your diatribe on Gay Marriage.
I agree with the "spirit" of your message, "gay marriage is bad".
Your application of this is, however, wrong.
Please read Romans 1: 26-32

26 For this cause God agave them up unto vile affections: for even
their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,
burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which
is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error
which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God
gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit,
malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors
of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things
are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them
that do them.

As you can see, the Lord has "upgraded" the law from Leviticus. He has
fulfilld the old law, and given us a greater law. That greater law is
that these people, homosexuals, are "worthy of death", not that they
should be "put to death".

Now, you could argue with me, but you would only prove your
misunderstanding of the ENTIRE MESSAGE that Jesus delivered unto us. You
cannot take bits and pieces of it, and live by those, it must be taken
in and understood as a whole.

Luke 6: 28
28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Luke 6: 31
31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.

Luke 6: 37
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not
be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

Matt. 18: 21-22
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin
against me, and I aforgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but,
Until seventy times seven.

Matt. 6: 14-15
14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will
also forgive you:
15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses.

In other words, "I, the Lord, will forgive whom I will forgive, but of
you it is required to forgive all men."

This is just one example of where you went wrong.

See 1 John 5:3.  Jesus states that we must uphold the laws of the Old Testament, unless He specifies otherwise.  This doesn't mean everything is abolished, only some of it and the things you listed weren't discounted by Jesus.

To Pastor Jim Nicholls

Hi my name is JB Corbay and I am very curious as to where you get your
scientific evidence to prove that masturbation is harmful or causes any health
problems. The bible is not a credible source of scientific information for
obvious reasons. As for the information you supplied from the bible stating that
"God was so offended when Onan spilled his seed upon
the ground that God struck Onan dead" This is ridiculous. As you should already
know, a wet dream is the
uncontrolled ejaculation of semen from the penis during sleep. This is a
common occurance in teenagers going through puberty. Will your merciful
God strike me down for having a wet dream ?

Thank you for reading my email

I just copy and pasted that from an old Geocities site.

Dearest “True Christian” of the “True Christian Church of
Christ”.

I just stumbled upon your page on gay marriage. WOW

Before I continue, there’s some things about me you should
know:

A. I
am a Christian

B. I
am not gay

C. This
is not hate mail, think of it as a “Love Crusade” as you would put it.

I am writing this mail to you because I am concerned.
Really, it hurts to see websites like this.

I totally agree with you, Gay marriage is wrong, it’s all
over the Bible, but I believe you are taking things a bit far here.

I quote: KILL
THEM ALL!! Listen to the words of Love by Jesus Himself!

Leviticus 20

13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with
a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put
to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Who are we to kill? Who are we to even judge? Is it not true
that the only One truthfully allowed to act upon sinners is GOD Himself? Did
Jesus ever kill someone? Would Jesus want us to kill someone at present? I
think not.

I quote: Leviticus 20

13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with
a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death;
their blood shall be upon them.

They are all Evil and since we are the Good guys
here it is our DUTY to take away their "deserved rights" and show
them for the slime God shows us that they are.

They shall be put to death. What death? What happens when a Christian
dies? We go to heaven, right? We don’t see “death”. The only true “death” is in
Hell. God will take the responsibility to “surely
put to death” , not
me or you or any other Christian.

I quote: 1.) Myth: Homosexuality is a genetic thing people cant
avoid: like being born black, or being born a male or female.

Reality: Homosexuality is a Chosen lifestyle since God wouldn't
create something so filthy. Remember, Intelligent Design!

The truth: Homosexuality is a
demonic spirit that has entered one’s life, and can be compared to the same
demons that bring addiction, certain diseases and other sinful nature upon
people.

I used to have a friend. Great
believer, follower of Christ, did amazing work for God. He killed himself,
because he was Gay and knew it was wrong, so he couldn’t live with himself, and
refused to believe that it is demonic influence, and so he was never delivered
from it.

I have another friend who was
gay for about 8 years. He got saved, and unlike my other friend, believed in
the possibility that it is demonic influence and he was delivered from it by a
local pastor. He is now happily married with two children.

I have a cousin who suffered
from epileptic attack from the age of 10 to 25. He also believed in the
possibility of demonic influence and was delivered from it two years ago. He is
now 27 and hasn’t had an attack since. Have a look at Luke 9:37-43, Matthew
17:14-21, and Mark 9:14-29.

Also read Luke 12:1-13.

I am impressed by how passionate you are about
your faith and think it is in great honour that you have taken your father’s
church to the internet, but i would like to challenge your morals. Not your
beliefs. Your beliefs are right (gay is bad) but morals are worrisome (WE shall
not destroy any gays, God will deal with them).

Remember this: God loves
everyone, even the worst sinners. We are all his children. If your brother or
father would turn out to be gay, would you hate them or even kill them? Jesus
wouldn’t. He’d pray for them.

I quote: 4.) Myth: Christians who speak out against gay marriage
are really just homophobic bigots using another minority as a scapegoat.

Reality: Christians go on Love Crusades and try to save them from
Hell so they can turn away from their Evil ways.

Well then I must say, you’ve
been quite successful with that one. I’d like to see you go on a Love Crusade
and start praying for gays.

I quote: If you notice by reading e-mails in the "E-Mail
Bag" section, many self-acclaimed 'Christians' have told me they will come
find me and kill me, rape my daughter, and so forth. This behavior isn't
Christian, and isn't tolerated by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Then I quote again So what's better than a dead Fag? Two dead Fags!! HAHAHA!
DIE EVIL DOERS!! GO JESUS GO!!! WOOOT!

Is that any more Christian
that the hypocritical mailers?

One more thing.

Many
people for instance believe that the Old Testament is bad, and Jesus' coming
means that we don't have to uphold it's laws since they are seen as ridiculous
by many. Then we look to the Bible:

Psalm 119

160 All your words are true;

all your righteous laws are eternal.

...and
THAT is what we do here on TrueChristian.com

By all means I agree with
Psalm 119. There’s nothing wrong about the Old testament. But when Jesus came
and died for us, the laws of Moses were taken from us. Therefore, we do not
have to KILL or PUNISH any sinners or evil doers, God will. Jesus died for
their sins anyway. The laws are still relevant. They are indeed eternal. BUT,
we are not responsible for seeing that everyone abides to them. We are no
responsible of doing God’s job. He can handle it. If He couldn’t and he relied
on us Christians to do it, I wouldn’t really call Him a God.

Good Luck mate, I’ll be
praying for you.
Chris

Why do you want to kill all gay people?!

Kind Sir,
I liked your diagram of the missing link. I would like to point out a
pretty large error. The bridge to God is not Atheism or Christianity.
The bridge is Jesus. By stating that Christianity is the bridge you
basically break the first commandment. Depending on how you interpret
Christianity you could also be breaking the second commandment. At
first I thought you’re sight was a joke. Now I hope it is. I’m just
curious, why is the Atheist black? Are you implying that Atheists are
black or that blacks aren’t Christians? If you really read the bible
why aren’t you a Catholic? The Catholic Church is the church founded by
Jesus. How can you twist scripture into another religion? You are
driving people from the True Faith. Can you logically defend any of
your arguments? Please don’t tell me the Lord works in mysterious ways
or some other nonsense. Our God is beyond comprehension, but She (I bet
you like that, don’t you) is a logical God. Now im gonna spel sum wrds
rong n maek a bunch a mistaks so i looook les credible? how is u liken
mi now!

A huge fan (if only one could type with sarcasm),
