Hello, Im a fur commenting on the anti furry movement., feel free to post this.

Im not exactly going to be defensive either :)

First off, ill share with you the short story of how i became furry, and then
disclose some furry stereotypes.

I was really into digimon around the age of 15. When i somehow became totally
obsessed with Flamedramon (a google image search will show you pics, and hopefully
not porn)
Anyway, i was obsessed, and confused about my sexuality at that point, i had been
going to church too.  Flamedramon became all my dreams and aspirations through half
of high school.. In a year and a half i decided i was definately bi, or gay, no
point in living in denial, and left the church.  I have not been religiouse since -
and share the views of science about the universe.  

I met people online who also \'loved\' digimon, and flamedramon, it wasnt exactly a
perverted group of people, my love for this cartoon charachter felt very pure in
fact - which of course, you can laugh at easily.  its a perversion of mind, but i
didnt care.  Some of the people i met were furries, and i found out about it thru
them, one of the boys i met became my first boyfriend, and we visited several times,
half a state away from eachother.

After a couple more years of getting more and more into the furry fandom, meeting
local furs too, eventually i lost a good 60% of human friends, but mostly because i
was not straight - they werent real friends anyway then.  Furs beacme my preferred
friend and date.  I found a local furry meetup, monthly furry parties, furry
conventions to go to.. and i loved furry art to death (theres plenty of clean art
too, its just hard to find thru whats popular, but im not saying i dont like furry
porn), and pretending to be a wolf.. it was extremely fun.  

I have never owned a fur suit, probably never will.. nor do i care to \'yiff\'
someone wearing one, my sex life is very calm.  while you could assume an average
male furry is gay, the furry population gay/straight balance is aboug 50/50 - also,
theres more non furs than furs that actually ahve sex with animals
 
you see, its all the non perverted stuff you arent seeing, cause this is the
internet, and people are looking for porn on it, so all the pervs come -here- so
what you are against stands out as the majority.

incase you were wondering: my parents are christian, they know im gay and furry,
they are letting me live my own life the way i want, they agree god gave us free
will.

Being a fur means something diffirent to almost every fur. you can try asking this
yourself, you will get a diffirent response every time.
the furry fandom is like any other fandom, like Anime fans, except since the furry
world revolves exclusively around themselves, that measn they are attracted to only
anthropomorphic charachters, and lets face it -everyone- has sex, so furs have
\'furry\' sex.  there are some pretty perverted human sites out there too.  and
thats just the thing, we\'re human too, but we\'re definately not all the same.

you seem to have a one-sided view of things here on this site, most of these
arguments are made upon generalizations or narrow-minded points of view. I\'m not
saying that it\'s wrong persay, just, perhaps, slanderous of the wrong things in the
wrong places, no case studies are used except for the extreme. Furthermore, i see a
lack of biblical reference to some of the argument made thereafter. Example? There
is no single one verse that says being a furry(not and extremely hard-core sick ones
as posted on this site)is wrong. There is no acceptance, nor forgiveness expressed
in opinions i\'ve seen, merely condemnation. Christians accept people for who they
are, but try to change them for the better through friendly influence, not
beating-down. The arguments are made very aggressively, rather than lovingly, as God
is love, and so is a Christians job to love, not to foster ruthlessness and hate for
these people, regardless of their faults. No single human alive, or that has ever
existed is faultless, except for
one: Jesus Christ our lord. Since everyone except for him has sinned, and since his
blood and redemption for our sins is the only thing that can save us, why not preach
how to save oneself, and to live a life to give glory to God, rather than working as
the opposite? Personally i am a conservative, christian fellow, but when i feel
God\'s telling me something\'s wrong, something\'s obviously wrong, in this case,
this web-site.

This isn\'t hate mail, just the pointing out of fact that i see here, and forming an
opinion based on my belief as a christian...thank you.
