Dear Pastor, 

     This will probably be the strangest e-mail you
get, aside from the hate mail (those people have no
life).  I'm 21 year-old California resident who is
struggling with his inner soul & demons.  I am of the
Catholic Church and I have been baptized.  

     In a way you can say this a somewhat of a
confession. There are times I find myself committing
acts that are frowned upon by others and more than
likely frowned upon by God himself.

     I have wanted to do confession for such a long
time but I fear many things including I cannot be
forgiven and that I have doomed myself.  I might of

by charitable to others and helping others.  I thought

I found your website on accident while using Google.

 

You have a very spiteful outlook on people you find offensive and, to be
straightforward and blunt, you hate rather deeply.

 

 

It seems that anyone who does not stack up to your standards of Jesus Christ is, in
your eyes, not a True Christian.  You slam the gay community but did you know
Alexander The Great had one female wife and over forty male concubines?  

You label ALL furries as a culture of misfits who are sexual deviants and sexual
predators who rape animals.  Most furries despise those who would bring such harm to
an Animal.  While some animals would engaged in sexual acts with humans, it is only
because they do not have the mental capacity to understand otherwise.  Without the
ability to consent to such acts, they have no ability to make a decision beyond what
seems like instincts.  Therefore, whether the animal consensually allows itself to
be coaxed into a sexual act with a human or not, it’s still RAPE.  Most furries are
aggressively opposed to people who RAPE animals.  Many furries are simply fans of
the science fiction and fantasy element of Anthropomorphic ideas.  This includes
comics, books or movies (that generate such classics as the werewolf), video games,
cartoons (like Garfield and Heathcliff or the Ninja Turtles), and even symbolic
characters.  This includes, but is not limited to, Tony the Tiger, Camel Joe, and
just about every Sports team mascot every conceived.  

 

Yes, there are perverts in EVERY walk of life.  That may challenge our faith but
isn’t that what mortality is?  A challenge to our everyday faith?  We walk amongst
these perverted individuals but it is NOT our job, as Christians, to judge these
individuals.  

 

I could be considered furry.  I write about anthropomorphic characters and find
clever animalistic logos (like FOX RACING or a snarling tiger patch for a Jet
Fighter Pilot) to be rather clever and fascinating.  


George Orwell used animals to draw political ties in Animal Farm.  Children’s
stories use animal characters to tell a tale, such as in the classic Peter
Cottontail.  Giving these characters human stories, traits or lifestyles make the
reader able to relate to the character.  It doesn’t mean that a romance between
Disney’s Robin Hood and Maid Marian is a lewd event, JUST because they’re two
foxes.  

 

The furry fandom is an OVERLY accepting group and so some perverse people feel
ACCEPTED.  Perhaps if they felt accepted by large Christian groups, they would
change their ways and redirect their personal path to something less perverse.  Who
knows?  You can’t go and shun EVERYONE who isn’t like yourself, because how else
would you guide them to the light of God if you don’t accept them with open arms and
try to convert them with respect and love.  It may not the THE ONLY way to do it,
but it’s the way Jesus did it… He didn’t act with spite towards people who acted any
certain way, He simply tried to do His best to love them unconditionally and respect
them.  

 

Again, there are perverts in EVERY walk of life.  I’m sure, if you wanted to look,
you could probably find pornography on the internet that is Christian related. 
Whether it be reenactments of a Minster of Faith having sex with a child or the
elderly engaging in sexual deviancy with a middle aged person of the same gender,
you have to admit that sexual perversion is everywhere.  Whether it’s some sort of
strange addiction to something that’s simply ‘taboo’ just because this person is
unable to find inner individuality, or whether it’s just because their parents
couldn’t connect with them, who knows?  Only God.  

 

Looking at how you’ve researched the most perverse things about each culture you
hatefully scorn on your site, I can only assume you’ll hunt down my email address
and slander me.  I have no intention of rebuking such juvenile behavior because it’s
not my place to pass judgment on someone who wishes to disparage me or my
reputation.  If you wish to vilify me, then be my guest.  Your facetious admonition
of groups who you consider “unchristian” does not sway a real true Christian.  

 

I have a ‘furry’ friend who is a devout follower of the Latter-day Saints.  He’s
twenty-eight years old and refuses to lose his virginity until his wedding day. 
When his girlfriend wished to put premarital sex before Holy Matrimony, he protested
because it would sully his wedding day.  She refused to relent, explaining that if
he couldn’t respect her desire to have sex, she would find a man who would.  He
rebutted that if she couldn’t respect HIS desire to save sex for their wedding day,
then she wasn’t the right woman to become his wife.  Why?  Because Matrimony is
sacred to him.  He’s VERY devout in his faith.  I have the deepest respect for him
and his beliefs.  If there were more people in the world like him, the world would
be a better place in my humble opinion. 

 

Are you surprised to hear of a pious ‘furry’?  He isn’t sexually attracted to people
wearing ‘fur suits’ which, for your information, is made from synthetic fur. 
Furries and Animal-rights advocates are VERY MUCH AGAINST the use of REAL FUR for
ANY article of clothing.  Now, as far as my friend is concerned, he’s not attracted
to any art or photograph with a perverse sexual theme.  He is, however, sensitive to
romantic themed art or pictures.  Wedding day portraits, couples holding hands or
smiling at one another, or something of that nature is what he prefers.  

 

I, myself, feel the same way.  I don’t own an animal costume and I would never wish
to purchase or create one.  They’re fine for people who like to wear them – also
including sports mascots, but it’s not my cup of tea.  Saying that all furries like
to "yiff" in their costumes is a stereotype and just another version of judgement
and hate. 

 

I don’t involve myself or my children in the affairs of people who are perverse. 
This includes straight couples who make out in public, this includes people who
dress brazenly in social areas like a mall or a restaurant.  I do NOT judge them, I
simply choose not to be around them.  

 

Does it make me a BAD Christian simply because I don’t force the Savior down their
throats?  They either reject or accept Christ – it’s THEIR relationship with God and
the PROPER way to handle such a situation is to advise them respectfully.  I offer
them kindness if they wish to do business at my store or if they wish to make
conversation with me.  It is NOT my place to judge them or tell them they are WRONG
or EVIL.  It is MY JOB as a CHRISTIAN to GUIDE THEM to a better lifestyle.  I show
them something like kindness, acceptance and respect and explain that Christians are
a kind, accepting and respectful people.  Then it’s up to them to accept Jesus
Christ into their lives.  Jesus wants us to show them the path, not hold their hand
and drag them to Him.  

Each relationship with God is private, intimate and sacred.  

My mother prays to God when she is knelt in her garden, cultivating the soil. 
That’s her private time for God.  Whether she cries, pays penance, or simply
converses with the Lord, I couldn’t tell you – it’s my way of respecting her
relationship time set aside for Jesus Christ.  

 

Again, I can’t understand why someone would try to paint such wicked and hateful
images of an ENTIRE subculture just because they’ve run into a few weirdoes.  Of
COURSE the perverse ‘furries’ are going to be the most brazen, social and
outspoken.  And yet, you’ve come across furry art that isn’t complacent or raunchy.
I saw the piece that someone did of a Lion holding a Lamb.  That is a perfectly
acceptable piece of art and you drove a hateful spear into its side.  Why?  

 

I cannot understand your mentality of hate and bitterness but I feel no ill will
towards you.  I simply wish I could help you open your heart and mind to your fellow
man.  Yes, those people in the costumes are human beings.  We’re all the same race –
the human race.  Perverted groups aside, you’re hating people who have innocent
interested that differ from your own standards.  They didn’t conform to your idea of
what life should be and so you judge openly and with intense prejudice.  I’ll pray
for you.  I can only hope that you pray for yourself.  No one is perfect until the
day they are complete.  No one is complete until the day they walk with God.  Some
of us have longer paths to God than others but the only person who can free your
heart of such contempt is YOU.  

 

On a semi-related note, concerning my life choices… I eat meat.  I’m a republican. 
Sex is an act of love, devotion and respect for me; I ONLY share it with my wife. 
My children are my only source of personal pride.  My Christian preference is
Catholicism.  I enjoy writing and making music as much as I enjoy listening to it. 
I enjoy writing as much as I enjoy reading because the aspect of telling a story is
a wonderful thing.  It’s what makes the Bible so compelling… it’s a collection of
historical stories from the Human Race’s past.  It’s a story of foreshadowing of our
future.  

 

While I am appalled by your intense hatred, I assure you that I do NOT hold it
against you.  You’re human and therefore imperfect.  Your heart is in the right
place with Jesus and, so, I hope and pray that you will shed yourself of such hate

with believers, He reached out to the broken and the lost. And He calls us to do the
same. So what good do you think you are doing? You are making God sound like a God
of hate and anger, who hates the sinner as well as the sin. Will 'atheists' ever
want to become Christians because of what you have said on your website? They might
as well stay non-believers as what good can believing in an angry and hateful God
do? I don't know what God you think you know, but my God is the kind of God who, no
matter how many sins I may have done that day, still calls me His daughter, who He
fearfully and wonderfully made in my mum's womb and who is with me every step of the
way. When I fall, He picks me up and whispers 'It's all right. I still love you.

Read all of this before you jump to any conclusions. For I believe that if
someone is dealing with something, they need to deal with all the parts of
that subject, and consider all things related to that subject to even be
considered informed. For if one doesn't, that one is ignorant of facts that
may have determined the out come. 
In all these THEORIES about life and anything relating to any subject that could be
applied to life and or life forms, there is one question that no one can answer:
WHERE DID IT ALL START? No where in our facts and or knowledge of things that we
know, can something just be there without some outside force acting upon something
to get something. In all the people through out history of "great" thinkers or
"doers" of any time or people, there has never been any "proven facts" to prove that
there is No intelligent life force that didn't bring all life on this planet about.
In any time in history, about 80% to 90% of any given people has believed in some
form of higher being. But, that doesn't prove there is one. That just proves there
are people that believe in something, WHICH IS JUST A BELIEF. But, if there isn't
any being higher than us, then again, where did it all start from? Nothing or no-one
in our FACTS AND KNOWLEDGE has proven that something can just be there without some
form of something doing something first to get something. Even with the theory of
evolution, humans are the only species on this planet that has no natural defenses;
i.e. fangs, claws, etc. We can't jump, run, climb, etc to escape something faster
and or stronger than us. But, if the theory of evolution and the big bang are
correct, then we still have that one question to answer as people that even want to
try to talk on the same level: Where did it all start from? So, with no ill-will
towards any beliefs and or systems of beliefs, can any answer that question? Can any
prove with FACTS what or who started it all? I know what science says about such
theories, but, that's what they are, theories, beliefs. A theory is something that
is not proven. A belief is something in the mind. A fact is something that is
PROVEN. It is not the FACT OF EVOLUTION or the BIG BANG FACT: they are THEORIES!
But, if any can't answer such a question with FACTS, then we are back to beliefs,
just like anyone else that just has a belief in something that they can't prove. For
Facts are the things that can be taught, theories are something to think upon. Like
AIR; is it real? I can feel it, I can see what it does to things, but, I can't see
it. So, I can come up with the THEORY that the air blowing around is the "ghosts" of
people that have died: prove me wrong. Gravity; can we REALLY prove it's there? Yes,
we stay on the earth, but, to prove it would be a fact. Again, I could say my theory
of why we stay on earth is because of invisible life forms holding everything down:
prove me wrong again. So, do I really know the earth goes around the sun? I have
never SEEN the earth go around the sun; I only have "science" to say it does, which
means, if I believe it, I have faith in them. I could say that these beings that I
can't see makes the sun go around the earth. Again, If I didn't see something being
built, CAN I REALLY SAY IT WAS BUILT BY HUMAN HANDS? If I believe it was, but didn't
see it, I have faith that someone or something did built it. For to talk about
anything, we must have the FACTS about it. If we just take someone's words about it,
then we have faith. But, to really KNOW about it, we must see it built, painted,
grown, born, spoken, lived, walked, etc. to really say that we have ALL THE FACTS
about it. For facts and logic together will over power just about ANYTHING that any
one person or group can come up with. But to live by theories/beliefs are based upon
faith, which is a religious based system and therefore, should not be taught unless
the one that teaches theories is going to be responsible of the thoughts and or
actions of the one being taught. In the school system of theories that are being
taught as of present day, the people that are being taught should be informed of any
and all theories that may apply to any and all subjects that apply to anything
relating to that subject. For if that one that teaches any child about theories, and
if those theories are differently based than the knowledge of what the parental role
is teaching the child, then that is undermining the parental teaching which is, in a
way, mind control, which is therefore causing conflict with in the mind of any and
all being taught. To have a child be taught there is a higher being by a parent, but
then taught by some other non-family person that there is no such thing, is causing
the child to go two different ways in thinking, and therefore, FORCING the child to
chose the parental beliefs or the non parental beliefs. School is about FACTS and
THEORIES, but both of them should be kept apart and TAUGHT as what they are. For to
teach theories as facts is causing the one being taught to accept a belief as a
fact. So, to all those who think that there isn't any higher being than us, i.e.
God, prove me wrong by FACTS, not theories from beliefs and thoughts. Now, if there
isn't any higher being than us, then that would mean that we are our own "gods" and
therefore, morals are only what we want them to be, and therefore, killing, raping,
stealing, and all other actions would be okay in any one person's mind. But, since
no one has proven that there isn't such a higher being, then I would say that the
"THEORY OF EVOLUTION" and the "BIG BANG THEORY" are beliefs and therefore a
religious system and since people don't want religion in the schools, should keep
such theories of teachings out!!! Thank you. Please tell all those theory based
people that say there is no God that they better prove that there is no God!!! P.S.
No, I am no "Christian" like others have said. But I do believe in Jesus The Christ.
(CHRIST - I - AN / I - AN - CHRIST = I AM CHRIST. Is that what Jesus meant when he
said that many will come in His name and deceive many?) I try to look at things
logical. When it comes to such theories, I have to ask, why isn't there more than
one planet in its own orbit around the sun? (Take a shot gun and shoot at a target
and try to get one B.B. per circle.) Why isn't there any life form on this planet
that has done what humans have done? Why isn't there any talking trees, or flying
dogs? How many generations of house flies has been in a seventy year old person's
life, since a fly lives for maybe what three to four days of human time? Why hasn't
these flies, or mosquitos or some other "lower life form" "EVOLVED" in the time that
just America has just been in place? If there are only three primary colors, then
how come we humans can make millions of colors from these three colors? How come we
don't have mice that are at least being like "cave men" in the since of grunting and
so forth? What I'm saying is, since people want to make "THE THEORY OF EVOLUTION"
and "THE BIG BANG THEORY" as facts, then we have to ask such "stupid questions"
about things. So, again, theories are something that IS NOT PROVEN, beliefs are
something in the MIND, and FACTS are proven. So, which one should we live by:
theories, beliefs, or facts? Because if you want to live by theories, then you are
living by beliefs, which makes you live by "a faith" which is a "religion" which is
not what people want in their child's mind. Please e-mail back and give facts to
prove I am wrong. Because the simple person can't understand much of anything, so
science is beyond them no matter what science proves.

Dear Pastor as a God fearing Christian and believer in the teachings of the 
Almighty, I cannot understand how you can utterly reject the principle rule 
that Jesus commanded to his disciples and unto us. You call all others 
demons? Jesus said Love thy neighbour... he didnt say Love everyone who 
follows me because all others are demons. You deny the teachings that Jesus 
himself has laid before us. I cannot force you to change your teachings and 
I shall not use threatening words nor actions against you as I do sympathise

  On your "children's" page about Job, you quoted Job (By the way, have you ever

  THIS is what the verse says (I'm sorry if it's not YOUR version, I read the actual

it." Then the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? There is no

around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of
his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But

  Yeah, great paraphrasing. Ever heard God use that kind of language? It says in
Matthew 12:34 (And this is Jesus Himself speaking): "You brood vipers, how can you
who are evil say anything good? For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth
speaks." 
  We know God's heart is good and loving, even as He is just. God would never speak
that way to anyone, even if it were Satan. God is a HOLY God. He isn't like us.
That's why there's no one like Him! 
  I'm sure your heart is full of hate, the way you talk about homosexuals (Who God
LOVES!), African-Americans, Asians, etc. If you REALLY love and serve God the way
you say you do, your heart would be in a completely different place. Your heart's
desire would be to do His will, and know His heart, and become closer to Him every
day. We're supposed to follow HARD after Christ, and show His creation His love.
Have you ever read THIS verse? John 15:17 says: "This is my command: Love each
other." WOW, it's just as simple as that. Love each other. That INCLUDES
African-Americans AND Asians.
   
  How can you hate ANYONE if you're a "True Christian?" Since when are Athiests
Satan worshippers? Athiests are simply people that don't believe in God. Yes, I
know, "If you aren't for me, you're against me." But that DOESN'T mean they
worship the devil. They aren't going to come to your little kids and rape them and
tell you to hate God for it. Some will, but not all (And how is a children's page
only for people over 18? They're adults by then!).

accept the Bible as a literal fact." Is the book of Revelation (Yes, in the BIBLE)
ever literal? It's all symbolism! And by the way, you can't accept the Bible as a

  Telling people they're "going to hell" is NOT an effective way to lead people to
Jesus. What would Jesus do? 
   
  Matthew 7:1-5 says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged.  For in the same way
you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be
measured to you. 'Why do you look at the speck of saw-dust in your brother's eye
and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your
brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a
plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye,
and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.'" Wow,
you've got it coming to you. That's all I have to say.
