God and Jesus christ are beings of love and they radiate love in all they do, they do not hate gays, nor do they hate anyone, they love eveyone but hate how people sin, just as you sin.

I knew I wasnt the only one who believed the science is false and you words are true. I do believe the world is flat. We are the center of the universe and the Bible reigns supreme! Your explanations are true and clear. The Bible is the FINAL WORD! My family got so into this that i let my 7 kids constantly read your KIDS SECTION. I believe that would educate them about the WRATH of the BIBLE! I just know the Bible really well. The best way to get the Bible down is to get it on CD and listen to it whenever you drive. That's what I've done, and I can quote practically anything for any issue that comes up.

Out of my deepest thoughts your website is a disgrace to your own religion. Hellfire—Is It Part of Divine Justice?

Have you ever seen someone tortured? We hope not. Deliberate torture is sickening and abhorrent. What, though, of torture inflicted by God? Can you imagine such a thing? Yet, this is exactly what is implied by the teaching of hellfire, an official doctrine in many religions.

Imagine, for a moment, the following horrific scene: A person is being roasted on a hot iron plate. In his agony he screams for mercy, but nobody listens. The torture goes on and on, hour after hour, day after day—without pause!

Whatever crime the victim may have committed, would not your heart go out to him? What of the one who ordered the torture? Could he be a loving person? In no way! Love is merciful and shows pity. A loving father may punish his children, but he would never torture them!

Nevertheless, many religions teach that God tortures sinners in an eternal hellfire. This, it is claimed, is divine justice. If that is true, who created that terrible place of eternal torment? And who is responsible for the excruciating agonies inflicted there? The answers would seem obvious. If such a place really exists, then God would have to be the creator of it, and he would be responsible for what happens there.

Can you accept that? The Bible says: "God is love." (1 John 4:8) Would a God of love inflict torture that even humans with any measure of decency find revolting? Surely not!

An Unreasonable Teaching

Still, many believe that the wicked will go to a fiery hell and be tormented forever. Is this teaching logical? The human life span is limited to 70 or 80 years. Even if someone perpetrated extreme wickedness for his whole lifetime, would everlasting torment be a just punishment? No. It would be grossly unjust to torment a man forever for the limited number of sins that he can commit in a lifetime.

Who knows the truth about what happens after we die? Only God can reveal this information, and he has done so in his written Word, the Bible, referred to above. Here is what the Bible says: "As the [beast] dies, so the [man] dies; and they all have but one spirit . . . All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust." (Ecclesiastes 3:19, 20) There is no mention here of a fiery hell. Humans return to dust—to nonexistence—when they die.

In order to be tormented, an individual has to be conscious. Are the dead conscious? No. "The living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten." (Ecclesiastes 9:5) It is impossible for the dead, "conscious of nothing at all," to experience the agonies of hellfire.

A Harmful Doctrine

Some maintain that the teaching of hellfire is useful, true or not. Why? They say it serves as a deterrent to wrongdoing. Is that true? Well, is the crime rate in regions where people believe in hellfire lower than in other places? Hardly! In fact, the doctrine of hellfire is very harmful. Will a person who believes that God torments people view torture as something abhorrent? Why should he? Those believing in a cruel god often become cruel like their god.

In whatever way a reasonable person may look at the matter, he cannot accept the existence of a hell of torment. Logic rebels against it. Human nature is repelled by it. More important, God's Word does not say that such a place exists. When a person dies, "he goes back to his ground; in that day his thoughts do perish."—Psalm 146:4.

What Punishment for Sin?

Does that mean that we are not punished for our sins? No, that is not the case. Our holy God punishes sinners, but he does not torture them. And when sinners repent, he forgives them. What is the punishment for sin? The Bible gives a forthright answer: "The wages sin pays is death." (Romans 6:23) Life is a gift from God. When we sin we no longer deserve that gift, and we die.

You may ask: 'How is that just? Why, everyone dies!' That is true because we are all sinners. In effect, no one deserves life. "Through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned."—Romans 5:12.

At this point you may be thinking: 'If we all sin and so we all die, why should we try to be virtuous? It seems that the wicked man is treated exactly the same as the man who tries to serve God.' But that is not the case. Although we are all sinners, God forgives those who sincerely repent and try to change their ways. He rewards our efforts to 'make our minds over' and to do good. (Romans 12:2) These truths are the basis of a marvelous hope.

A Reward for the Good

We cease to exist when we die. But that does not mean that everything is finished. The faithful man Job knew that he would go to the grave (Sheol) when he died. But listen to his prayer to God: "O that in Sheol you would conceal me, that you would keep me secret until your anger turns back, that you would set a time limit for me and remember me! If an able-bodied man dies can he live again? . . . You will call, and I myself shall answer you."—Job 14:13-15.

Job believed that if he was faithful until death, he would be remembered by God and resurrected. This was the belief of all of God's servants in ancient times. Jesus himself confirmed this hope when he said: "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment."—John 5:28, 29.

When will the resurrection begin? According to the Bible, very soon. Bible prophecy indicates that in 1914 this world entered into its "last days." (2 Timothy 3:1) In what many call 'the end of the world,' God will very shortly remove wickedness and establish a new world under heavenly rulership.—Matthew, chapter 24; Mark, chapter 13; Luke, chapter 21; Revelation 16:14.

The result will be a paradise covering the whole earth and inhabited by those who have sincerely tried to serve God. Wicked people will not burn in hellfire, but they will have no place in the coming Paradise. At Psalm 37:10, 11, we read: "The wicked one will be no more; and you will certainly give attention to his place, and he will not be. But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace."

Is all of this just a dream? No, it is God's promise. In the Bible we read: "I heard a loud voice from the throne say: 'Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.'"—Revelation 21:3, 4.

Obviously, you do not know the true beliefs of Jehovah's Witnesses because if you did you would know that they only adhere to the original Greek and Hebrew scriptures. It is only the Bible they refer to with published literature to be used as 'aides' to further Bible understanding.

I am not a practicing Witness but know these people are law abiding citizens who genuinely care for people to learn the Bible so they can decide for themselves which Christian organization imitates the early Christian's the best. They are not a secret society but welcome everyone to learn the scriptures and practice what they have learned to benefit themselves and those they love.

That's the claim of pretty much all Christians (scripture basis); however, you can get thousands of different sects of Christianity. How do that work?

I am writing with absolute disgust. After visiting your site i have an even lower opinion of the christian faith. We are at the beggining of the 21st century, inferring that 1. black people are satin 2. that people (atheists) that have knowledge from logic, science and intelligence are ignorant and 3. that people that believe or in this case know different from yourself are the devil incarnate is wrong, dispicable, disgusting, revolting and sickning especially for a group of people that are, according to your website, loving people that help the needy and shelter the unsheltered.

Your site is very interesting. The things presented on
the site provide a point of view that most people are
too scared to bring up. People seem to always try to
be "safe" in what they say and are always using
politically correct terms. Soon enough it'll be too

everything you need to live on a daily basis is based off of
scientific advancement.

So, this technically isn’t “hate mail” because I don’t hate you. I’m just completely against what you said about Wiccans. You took those scriptures WAY out of context, and Jesus would’ve never agreed with what you are saying to do to Wiccans. They are not a fuel source and they do not eat children, that is a complete myth that Christians and other Pentecostal organizations need to drop. Wicca is not evil, and Wiccans do not worship Satan; Wicca is in fact very peaceful and nature based. However, you are being like most Christians have been since Christianity came in play, you’re being closed-minded and judgmental. In the Bible it says not to judge, for with what judgment you judge you will be judge. So don’t judge Wiccans, that’s not your job. Your job is to be a witness. And do not force your religion on anyone, that’ll just make them hate you. Well yeah, that’s all I wanted to say.

I have to say that I find your beliefs to be fascists and repungnant. I truly believe that the world would be a better place without people like yourself. But, I am sure that you are used to comments like that and are okay w/ me thinking that your a fascist, ignorant and revolvting individual. People like you are the reason why I do my best to ensure that my kids grow up not knowing christianity.

However, I am writing not to throw darts or anything of the like. I would like to know if you could change the constitution of the US, would you and if so what? If I may be so bold as to ask if you could particularly pay attention to the free speech and establishment clause of the first amendment. Also, I would like to know what criminal protections you would strip people of, if any? Finally, I would like to know if you would add any protections into the constitution? I realize that this is a tall order and if you don't answer due to your work restrictions (I am sure that you are a busy man, as you do have a rather impressive site - revolting, but, impressive nonetheless).

Hey, I’m not going to try to shut you down, contemplate your murder, or wish bad things upon those who believe in God. But, I do have some problems with this site. Woman aren’t meant to bow down to men, or serve them. Also, the whole Adam and Eve thing can be dis-proven for science shows that humans evolved. Also, if you are a pastor, than aren’t you supposed to teach tolerance, and not wish for the harm of others? Not to mention, who are you to decide who is to be condemned and banished. I thought that was up to Jesus and God. Wiccans were not here to use as burning fuel!!!!!! They have been around 28,000 years before Christians. Please do more research upon those to whom you are insulting. I’m sure you are intelligent, but intelligence ,means nothing when one is ignorant. I understand your point of view. True, there are holes in scientific thought. Unfortunately, there are holes in the bible as well. This is not denied by the church. This email is more of a respectful comment pertaining to the structure and grammatical errors that are positioned throughout your dinosaur posting. If you are unable to spell words correctly (for example moron is not spelled moran) and use proper facts in your postings (dinosaurs lived 65 million not trillion years ago), then you are only inciting others to label your side of the argument as inferior and laughable. A logical, intelligent debate is only as valid as the person who is making it. For future reference, perhaps you should do a little research and spell check your work prior to posting it.

First I must say that I am an atheist. I read somewhere on your site that us atheist are evil people who hate everything. That is not true at all. I love almost everybody I know. I know other atheist, who are also very kind and loving people. I'm not an atheist because I don't believe in Christianity, I was a Christian for almost 15 years, but I am a an atheist because I think all religion makes the world a terrible place. There is an amazing book you should read called Letter To A Christian Nation. It was written by Sam Harris. It is mainly about how Christianity, and other religions, are very immoral. I don't follow science either, but I do agree with common sense. The world is definitely older than 6,000 years. No dinosaurs did not walk with man, and I don't care what you derived out of the Bible. The Bible is a good book, if you want to learn some life lessons, and hear a good story, but it is really a terrible thing to believe it is written, or actually inspired by, God itself. I know you weird Christians often refer to God as a he. Yes it created man in its image, but really God, if existent, would be too complex to describe as a he. Your site has to be a joke. For Christians you are really ignorant of your own religion. I was raised Baptist, which in my opinion is one of the worst versions of Christianity, and then went to a Church of Christ for over a year. I have to say that Church of Christ has a better idea than Baptists. I don't agree with the no music idea, where did they get that from? Music was performed in worship in the old testament. Sure they might argue old laws don't matter anymore, but still I don't think Gods opinion would change, but who am I to judge what the "Creator" thinks. Basically all I wanted to say is that everyone views their own religion in their own ways. Let people decipher what they want out of the Bible. In the end we may all be wrong, but who knows, that hopefully will be a long time from now. Stop telling people that what they believe the Bible says is wrong, and what you perceived from it is right. The devil mixes the lies with the truth, how do you not know that he might of had a hand in the creation of the Bible? I honestly don't believe in a divine creator, but if one exists I am sure it will not send us to hell, unless it is one messed up being who likes to torment lower life forms. God loves its creations, love is all we need, and if a person believes that their creator loves them then that is all they need. Sure you are going to say love wont keep them from going to hell, but who knows if hell really exists? Can you prove it? Yes the Bible does say so, but how many other books are out there talking about where we go when we die? The Koran has a view. Well, why aren't we all Muslims, can you prove that it is any less legit than the Bible. No. It is up to Faith to prove it, and faith is basically you believing in fairy tales, and talking to imaginary friends. I'm not scared of death, whatever comes will. From your views I will burn for all eternity, but it takes a messed up God to send a person to hell for believing that God should love all creation, and nothing should suffer for believing what they want.

i would say that your entire attitude to non-christians is actually quiet revolting disgusting and most of all, disturbing. as i tyoe this message im wondering why the help you believe that you are so christian because you are doing what god wrote in a book centuries ago. i think that god would actually be quite ashamed of you seeing how you are out to destroy others in a very public crusade type way. isnt the holy trinity all about loving your neighbor and treating others as you want urself to be treated. even a 5 year old knows this. one thing that really saddens me though is that you are one of the people that are spreading hate around in this world we have. i thought that a pastor like yourself would have some respect for others and their beliefs. currently i subscribe to the christian religion but have some thoughts on the christian religion that seem to be very outdated. first of all christians are supposed to be loving and to take care of everyone. wasint it jesus that went to go help lepers and the other diseased. you could say that lepers and the diseased were not christian because some of them may not have been baptised yet he still helps them and LOVES them. how can u say that you are a true christian if you cannot even follow christs most important message.
