It has been over a year since I last sent you an e-mail. I've changed since then. I

contradictions like when Jehoiachin was released from prison (2 Kings 25:27,
Jeremiah 52:31) the census figures between Ezra 2 and Nehemiah 7 and all the
supposed contradictions in the gospels like the color of the robe placed on Jesus,
how Judas killed himself and what the sign on the cross said. Or how there are end
of the world prophecies that contradict each other. They claim this because verses
like Matthew 16:28, Matthew 24:34 and Revelation 1:7 supposedly are "expired"
prophecies contradicting other prophecies. How dare they! There are no
contradictions in the Bible! It is the infallible word of God! Anyone who suggests
otherwise should be shot!

They'll also claim that there are books that were left out of the Bible like the
Book of Jubilees and the Gnostic Gospels. They even claim that there are books
mentioned in the Bible that were left out like the Book of Jasher (Joshua 10:13, 2
Samuel 1:18) and the Book of Nathan (1 Chronicles 29:29, 2 Chronicles 9:29). That is
nothing more than a bunch of Satanic lies! The Bible was written by God himself and
passed on for us believers to follow him! If there were books left out, then the
Bible wouldn't be the infallible Word of God. But it is since the Bible says so (2
Timothy 3:16).

They'll also claim that people in the Bible just mimic earlier pagan characters like
Jesus being a rip-off of Osiris, Mithras and Dionysus as well as Noah being a
rip-off of Utnapishtim and Ziusudra. LIES! LIES! LIES! We all know that the God of
the Bible exists and the thousands of other gods ever invented by man are false.
It's just plain common sense. 

The Bible is very child safe too. With verses like Genesis 9:20-21 and Genesis
19:31-38, it's very family friendly unlike those filthy porno movies and playboy
magazines.

As a student of religious thought I am often confused by the idea that the 
bible can be considered literal.  The reason behind this confusion is that 
various sections of the bible clearly and irrevocably contradict each other.
I am sure you've heard some of the usual examples, such as whether god 
create animals before man, as in genesis 1:20-28, or vice versa (genesis 
2:7-21), and even contradictory verses relating to the stuff of major 
commandments (the god of "Thou shalt not kill" exodus 20:13 can not in any 
way be reconciled with the god of (for example, and as you will surely know 
there are a great many) samuel 15:3, who orders the deaths of a entire tribe 
including children and livestock.)
I was writing to ask how you feel it is best to decide, in the face of 
sometimes overwhelming confusion and backtracking, what really is gods 
opinion on any given subject.  To give the crux of my own issue, the one and 
only example I can find of a biblical holy edict which is not later (or 
previously) contradicted is the abominatory nature of consuming shellfish 
(and any water creatures without fins or scales (leviticus 11:9-12, 
deuteronomy 14:9-10), and yet I have seen many a preacher of many a 
denomination happily tucking into such forbidden delicacies.
I would really appreciate an answer to this mail, as the issue has been a 
peronal stumbling block for quite some time now, and it has had a severely 
detrimental effect on my faith.

Are you afraid of going to Hell?

So you call yourself a Christian?  Christians don't suggest that killing people is a
solution to what you think is a problem.  Christians are also taught to "treat your
neighbor as you would want to be treated".    Being a complete bigot and suggesting
that we should kill people doesn't sound to Christian to me.  And if you think they
are committing a sin, why are you so worried about it?  That is their problem right?
 AND God is suposed to be forgiving and will forgive your sins if you repent, in
this life, or the afterlife.  Beleive what you want.  It's not my place, or anyone's
place for that matter, to tell anyone what to beleive.  But, if you have any decency
or Christian blood in your body, quit calling people names and threatening to kill
people.  What are you, 3 years old?  Back off.  I know your from Arkansas and people
that come from there are very slow and ignorant...but you want to kill human beings?
 I beleive there is a name for that.  They call it Psychosis. 
 You are a Sociopath.  It is a disease and I suggest that you see someone about it. 
You are a 48 year old man and I am very surprised that you could be so ignorant,
foolish, and full of hate.  It's none of your business what other people do...and

     When I stumbled upon your site, I thought you were just another
religious zealot trying to spread the word of Christianity. I looked at a
few of your articles and was offended, until I realized what you were REALLY
doing. Most people are too ignorant, and jump to conclusions too quickly to
understand that you're just trying to show how a large portion of 'true'
Christians act. When I saw that, I thought to my self, 'Wow.. I HAVE to
e-mail this guy." It's great how you put things, because that's how most
Christians would really see it. I was going through your hate mail and

I think it's really sad that you have to publish a website that is not only
defamatory towards pagan religion but the content is unfounded and you
provide no proof other than your personal beliefs.  You quote the bible
(rhetorically) but I find no other content/documentation from other
sources.  The bible (and all it's versions) are "interpretations" of the
holy words written in a language and dialect not in English.  Yes, someone
had to interpret the words and create King James, New Testament, etc but
they are all interpretations.  I've studied Buddhism, Taoism, Judaism,
Christianity and Wicca (Paganism)  and they are "ALL" valid and we as you
call God's Children are in no position to question or defame any of them.
Do more research and look into how other countries and their
beliefs/religions are and provide more comparisons and let people decide
what is right for them.

If you are a Pastor and with language and accusations as profoundly
judgmental and inaccurate, I see you only hurting the Christians more than
you are hurting pagans by showing the evil side you claim pagans have.  If
you've ever met any pagans, they'll tell you that they don't believe in Hell
or the devil for that matter, it's a Christian belief, not pagan.  Many
pagans believe in a Universal Soul as opposed to claiming to be a Male
presence (although that is how we were brought up to believe) - doesn't make
it accurate.  There isn't a single person alive on this planet that can say
there is a male or female God and anyone claiming they know isn't able to
prove it enough that people on this planet would buy it.  Seeing is
believing and that is the society we live in.

I was born Christian, raised Episcopalian and attended Baptist churches,
Lutheran and United Methodist churches.  I've been to Catholic (don't
believe in everything they do) and Unitarian Universalism Congregations.
All have their own spin on what the bible teaches, and their
interpretations.  It's what humans do, we interpret what we don't have
answers for.  Even if we do, the English language (not to mention the
others) have so many meanings for the same words, what else can you do with
it??

I believe in Harm None and attend church regularly.  I love the environment
and nature.  I have no bad words to say about Catholics, Christians,
Buddhists, Tao's, Pagans, Christian Scientists, or any other God recognized
(or not) religion that humans are practicing.  It's only human to explore
what we feel we are called on to do - it's inhumane to discount something we
don't have all the facts for or don't understand, regardless of our right to
freedom of speech.  Slanderous talk and discussions on your website are so
far out of context, it was laughable and sad that you actually believe what
you are saying.  Clearly coming from an ill-informed and un-intelligent
person only posting comments to stir up trouble.  At least this is how it is
portrayed and how I'm "interpreting" your message.

I don't expect a reply, but would sincerely hope you take some time to study
more about Pagan beliefs (since that is your primary focus to discredit) and
provide at least some facts relating to the discussions you are posting.

Hey,

I came across your website, and I have to say. Seeing Americans like
you, makes me a little sad that I'd be associated with you. Though we
have different religious beliefs, we are both people and I would have
hoped that you would have acknowledged that.

I am an athiest, and it has nothing to do with Christianity. America
is a very spiritually diverse country (founded by Athiests and
Deists).  One of the best thing about America is the religious freedom
we are granted. There is a very well known quote that I am fond of
that goes, "Freedom of religion also means freedom from religion." I
am accepting of my Christian, Jewish, Islamic, Hindu, Mormon, Buddhist
and even Daoist peers. In exchange I ask for the mutual understanding
that my own freedom of choice be respected. I realize some people have
a difficult time accepting diversity, but being from a very urban
background, I might not understand some smaller-town values since the
people I know all have very differing backgrounds.

I am proud to say that my high school is home to the first openly gay
homecoming king and openly lesbian homecoming queen.

Please don't be upset with as much, but upon further inspection of
your website I realized that a lot of things you said were inaccurate.
Jesus was not American, people bootlegged. and not all homosexuals
have aids.
